Anatomía de una cabra (Anatomy of a goat) is an audiovisual creation that proposes different theoretical-practical approaches to the concept of “goat”, which have been generated by the members of our artistic collective from their homes, in the context of the quarantine that affected our society due to the pandemic. It is a production that could be defined as an exercise in pastiche, considering that in its reproduction fragments of diverse aesthetics are interwoven, responding to the particularity of the individual creativities as well as the recording tools that each creator had at home. In this way, there coexist animation exercises, a revision of the presence of goats in the history of the visual arts, an incantation, a thriller about a goat stalked by the “chupacabra”, a short film based on the tradition of the scapegoat, a ritual of personal transformation and a myth about the origin of these animals. These proposals are not only in dialogue in that they respond to research into the same concept, they have also been planned in collective sessions that have made it possible to generate connections between the contents of each other, to which is added an original sound-musical proposal that gives unity to the ensemble.
